Medium: colored pencils This mandala was inspired by a Native American ritual called an Eagle Dance in which I participated. We were camped next to a lake with very loud bullfrogs. Frogs are supposed to be very shamanic. Their skin is very sensitive to their enviroment and they have the ability to live in two worlds. Some shamans are supposed to have the ability to jump into one lake and emerge from another. The stars represent the view as I emerged from a sweat lodge ceremony. | ||
